The seminar “Russia and the Western Far Right” will be based on Anton Shekhovtsov’s recently published book under the same title. The seminar will discuss relations between various Russian actors and Western (mostly European) far‐right ideologues, movements and organisations.

Anton Shekhovtsov is also the Editor of the "Explorations of the Far Right" book series at ibidem-Verlag (Germany) and a member of the Editorial Board of the Open Access e-journal Fascism: Journal of Comparative Fascist Studies. His professional interests include, but are not limited to, new radical right-wing parties in Europe; Russian subversive influence in the West; illiberal tendencies in Central and Eastern Europe; New Right in general and Russian New Right (Neo-Eurasianism) in particular; varieties of interwar European fascism; radical right-wing music.
