Monika Zin studied art history, Indology and dramatics in Krakau and Munich, taught Indian art history at the Institute for Indology in Munich and is now research leader of the Research Centre “Buddhist Murals of Kucha on the Northern Silk Road” at the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig. Among her research contributions are several monographs on Ajanta, Buddhist tales and visual representations, as well as numerous articles on the identification of narrative art and Indian drama. https://www.saw-leipzig.de/de/mitarbeiter/zinm
