Sustainable tourism development is key to keeping the delicate balance between the economic benefits of the growing industry, improving the life quality of the local residents, and preserving the cultural and natural heritage of the tourist destinations. This means viable tourism from a wide range of factors including nature, culture, and architecture, but also from a perspective that takes the local population, local and regional business and the visitors experience into account as well. In the new digital era, we aim at providing a forum for researchers, practitioners, and professionals from both the industry and the academia to share their newest research findings and results.
