Last day for the exhibition 'Her Story – The Exhibition' in the Orangery. At 12:30-12:45 see 'In the motion caught' – choreographers Anaï Ljungberg and Helena Kindhult interpret the contents of the exhibition, in the Linnaeus Room.
The second Sunday in November is Father's Day in Sweden. Uppsala Museums treat fathers and everybody else to free admission and to events where storytelling is at focus. Gather around the campfire and listen to stories about predatory animals, see the collections of the art museum interpreted via dance or learn more about the stories of the images and the runes. Make father happy – visit a museum on Father's Day!
The Tropical Greenhouse
Did you miss our activity during the autumn school holiday? You can still learn more about edible and poisonous plants from the tropics or challenge your family in our digital quiz.
Take a picture of the map and locate some edible and poisonous plants. Use your eyes and your imagination to answer questions about all sorts of things from chili, cocoa and pineapple to insect catching plants, pollination and floral necklaces. There is Wi-Fi in the greenhouse, but you need to bring your own smart phone.
Last chance to see Her Story – The Exhibition, where Maud Karlsson explores sculptured dressmaking as an embodiment between generations, outer and inner identity as well as a visualization of time.
12:30–12:45 In motion trapped – koreography by Anaï Ljungberg and Helena Kindlund Brånstad, exploring the exhibition.
