The Swedish Institute for North American Studies (SINAS), Uppsala University, The Nordic Association for American Studies (NAAS) and the Swedish Association for American Studies (SAAS) welcome scholars interested in the current developments in the United States to an afternoon of engaged discussion.
The discussion will be based on three lectures in which scholars from literature, history, and political science that will place the election and its outcomes in a larger perspective. The lectures are available online a week in advance. The program on May 21 includes brief presentations by the speakers, a choice of three zoom break-out rooms for discussions of the individual lectures, and a joint and concluding session.
