The Centre for Medical Humanities organizes a digital MHS-seminar 15th of September 13.15-15.00 with the title: “Cross-disciplinary translations on cognition and expectations: The placebo effect and autism anthropology”. The seminar will be held in English. The presenters are:
Karin Jensen Associate professor at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska institutet, with the presentation "Faith, hope, and placebo effects - exploration of placebo responses among individuals with intellectual disabilities" and
Ingela Visuri, senior lecturer in religious studies, Dalarna Universitywith the presentation "Supernatural relations and imaginary worlds in autism: a mixed methods approach".
