In this session you will learn about how to find relevant scientific databases for your subject and to use different search strategies to find scientific articles or other material.
This course is aimed for you who are studying a subject in social sciences and who have not received a library instruction in your course / program this semester.
We will show you:
- How to search in the library's collections
- How to find relevant databases for your topic
- How to formulate keywords based on your research question / subject
- How to use some basic search strategies in different databases.
The content consists mainly of a lecture but with certain elements where you can try out the strategies yourself, either with the library’s example or with your own question.
