The seminar is devoted to the study of Armenian “Velvet Revolution” in 2018 and its impact on the negotiation process over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Thus its aim is two-fold. First, an attempt will be made to understand the logic of the ‘revolution’ with thorough consideration of the overall context lying behind the mass protests as well as the logic of its further development. The seminar will also elaborate on the question to what extent the strategy towards Nagorno-Karabakh peace process adopted by the new authorities is illustrative of the revolutionary process.
