Supervising student presentations - in theory and in practice

Would you like to learn more about how to help students improve their oral presentation
skills? The purpose of the course is to give teachers insight about the process of giving
and receiving feedback, as well as how to identify and evaluate the different parts of an
oral presentation. Methods and theories about oral communication and feedback will be
discussed and put into practice.

During the course, participants will practice giving concrete and direct feedback on
student presentations. In addition, participants will prepare and give their own short,
filmed presentations and provide each other with peer-feedback. This course is aimed at
teachers, PhD-students, and researchers supervising oral presentations.
